unbearable
if only you tried
a little harder
waited, a little longer
you would of heard me
a choir
a symphony
an orchestra
amongst the graveyards of silence
a discarded daughter
a child in a school yard
lamb to the slaughter
i’m the aloe soothe
disguised as cacti
and the sweat profuse
under strain
the exile of water
W.E.
resilience is an art
buried amongst the ruins of ancients
we have no bear for one another
because we have no bear for ourselves
with ourselves
expecting to be accomplished
out of the womb
expecting to be whole
without a part of us ever separating
W.E.
