There’s meter in everything
The metronome of your state;
If you want to gauge where you are,
Familiarise yourself with the throne of your being,
The rib cage’s dwelling, the Queen of your sorrow, the Jester of joy,
The King of your kingdom, the pastures of his dominion.
Where meadows flow streams of delight,
Where brave men conquer fright,
Where lovers and seekers delight,
Where the sages, stay awake and polish through the night.
There’s no beginning or end in sight,
When the heart takes to matters,
And ascends in flight.
